Listen, Never Learn

Tell me lies, come lie to me

Forget the head, the foolish heart will believe

Promise me a rose garden

That distant dreams are close at hand

And that longing desire will nigh be fulfilled

Deceive me again, I deserve it, I demand it

Sweeter words were never heard

Your lies, like music to my ears

Let me listen and be led on

Again

  3. Ah! I missed the memo – that is was Masochism day today. I love the poem though – getting lost in the madness of love even when head and heart are at odds with each other. πŸ™‚
