Exhort, incite, instigate, intimidate
Challenge, provoke, propagandize
Mock, joust, maim, kill, eulogize

Irresistible force, immoveable object
Seismic shocks, cataclysmic change
The world tremulates

It once came across an angel

White wore she

Her halo intact

Her aura glowed

Pure and pristine

The Tree Of Life

Solidly alone.

A living, breathing, organism.
Centuries old. Rooted in history.
Mute witness to the cyclicality of civilization.
And the linearity of time

Solitary. Proud. Strong.
Incompatible with today.
A hark back to the times that were.
Before the city lost out to progress and modernity.
