Vrindavan called, notes on the flute
Benares beckoned, a faint lilt through chaotic noise
Rishikesh and Kedarnath, their throbbing damru, a constant echo
Anticipation aroused, the heartbeat surged, the open eyes dreamt
Visualising the experience ‘ere it happened
When the time came, a pandemic came calling
Purging lives, as it did my dreams
Now I let faith intercede, urging fate to recede
Patience, persistence, penitence, penance await reward
- the lead image above the header is that of Nandi, the bull, Shiva’s mount. Its significance lies in that it waits ever-so-silently for Shiva to finish His meditation. Legend also says that a devotee has to whisper their wish in its ears for the Lord to listen… well, I just have.
Gm K. Hope you are doing good.
Loved the bell picture against the backdrop of the misty mountains. Kedarnath?

Doing so-so…and you, I hope better than me 🙂
Thanks for the read, I think the pic is of Tungnath (highest Shiva mandir in the world), from google
