Sangam (The River and a Rivulet)

A few salty drops

Merge with the sweet

A confluence

Whence a tiny tributary

Meets a mighty river

In a sacred connection

A union with the divine

The first in a series of 5 pieces written in November while on a trip to Rishikesh, my getaway from the mayhem of Mumbai
