Be careful what you speak
For karma is the echo
The hills are listening
Every word is recorded and played back
They know your inner intent
Even if the external action masks that
Sugar coated words off a poisoned tongue
Be careful where you tread
Karma is the shadow
Following you wherever you choose to go
Karma is the reflection
An image of who you were in your time
When you are no more
so very beautiful π

Beautiful philosophy of life written so well, Kunal and for sure Karma plays great roles in each everyone’s life. One has to surely learn to escape it. Great poem.

Karma as an echo, shadow and reflection….intangible, yet there in presence, before and after. Loved the feel of it, Kunal! πππ

Karma is the echo, the shadow, the reflection…. I like this poem a lot. Pause for reflection. I find the image with its swirling saturated colors beautiful and that it compliments the poem in a striking way.

Thanks, Arati! I’m glad you liked it. The visual isn’t mine, but I’ve worked on it and given it a canvas painting texture. Take care and thanks for the visit!
