When something is always just out of reach
Almost within an arm’s length
Do you stretch and extend yourself
At the risk of pushing it further away
Do you ignore desire, withdraw and let go of hope
Or do you trust it will come into your hands and wait
I trust in what is yet to come. Hoping the good things. But eventually they turn out to be absolutely nothing âšī¸đđ

Beautiful words Kunal and yes all depends on how we take life in our hands and sometimes as you have rightly said when opportunities knock at our door we do not realize and ignore them.

I learnt that it is always better to reach out, irrespective of the result, for the regret of not having tried, kills you more times than that last eventual one!

You’re a braver man than I, Vidur! Regret is something that catches up as life moves on. Thank you, my friend đđŊ

I loved the final line.
My take – it is wise to make preparations and then .. wait

Come on over, I posted yesterday. Btw, on one of my sojourns, I was in a group including someone from your city – He was a good ambassador for your country – reminded me about Ghandi day which was on Monday I think.đ

Yes, Oct 2 was the day on which Gandhi was born. It’s a national holiday.
I’ll come by for sure. Am still recovering from last night – we went to an Oktoberfest celebration, where a bit too much beer & bratwurst was had! And as a motoracing buff, there’s an F1 race in a bit. đ
