Like a breath of fresh air
Like a cool breeze
Like a rush of wind
I feel it on my skin
Brushing past
Ruffling my hair
Scattering my senses

I try to reach out
To grasp it, clasp it in my palms
But as ever, it cannot be caught
It slips through my fingers
And once again, it passes me by
And I am left behind
A fist clutching at nothingness

Love, palpable, perceptible, discernible, tangible
But transient, evanescent
