I clamp down
And in my shell sanctuary
Under a canopy
Into darkness
I withdraw

To find peace
From the noise

Solace, shelter and shade
From the harsh lights of the world

Purpose
Amid the ebb and flow

Silence
To contemplate and connect

Patience and grit
To transform into a luminescent pearl
