Lame Limericks

Set out to write a limerick
Didn’t realize there’s a trick
It’s got to have rhyme and wit
To make people smile a bit
Otherwise it falls flat as a brick

Have been sat here awhile
Scribbled & doodled a pile
Thought I’d be done in a tick

Little did I know
This’d be all I’d have to show
Am I sick or just plain thick?

There’s really not much to choose
