By the Ganga

The river
Its meandering, the twists and turns of the mind
Its rapids, my blood surging, the multitude of thoughts & emotions
Its lapping of the banks, hesitant tugs I feel within
Its ripples, shimmering with the radiance of divinity
Its depths, what I have come to explore
Its currents, the pull of a life less mundane
Its submerged rocks, obstacles in the course
Its flow, that of my spirit in its eternal quest
