I’ve been fortunate to meet some wonderful people through the WP platform. Here’s someone with a rare talent, depth and sensitivity, whose every post makes me pause, reflect and re-read.
On the occasion of Sindhi New Year, this is her wonderful piece about a Sufi saint who lived in the subcontinent and is revered by Hindus & Muslims on both sides of the Indo-Pak border (his shrine is located in the Sindh province of Pakistan). Sadly, fanatics bombed it last month in the mistaken belief that his tomb is a heretical site. It’s a wish I have that I might visit it one day, inspite of me having an Indian passport. Inshallah!
Over to Sonya, may her pen never stop writing…
Thank you, Kunal for that breathtaking introduction and for sharing my post.
Lots of love and my wishes are that you may visit the shrine soon🌷Ameen.
