A LOVE SUBLIME, A LOVE DIVINE

That whose face I am unable to see
I visualise in my dreams

That with whom I want to spend more time
Has been waiting for me all along

That whom I want to talk to ever so often
Communicates soundlessly through my thoughts

That whom I want to get closer to
Is right here beside me

That whose hand I long to hold
Embraces me

That whom I want to touch so gently
The presence I canย feel

That whose perfume I long to inhale
The scent is everywhere

That whom I wish to serenade
Lullsย me to sleep each night

That for whom my heart beats
Is embedded in my soul till the last breath and beyond

The significance of the peacock feather visual is that in Hindu mythology,
Lord Krishna, the supreme godhead,ย is depicted wearing one in Hisย hair
