  1. There shall be showers of blessings
This is the promise of God
    There shall be seasons refreshing
    Sent from the Saviour above
Showers of blessings , showers of blessings we need
Mercy drops round us are falling
But for the showers we weep πŸ™‚

A hymn we sing in Church . God knows we need ’em both , blessings and mercy for our merciless acts .
    Loved the verse.

  2. I’m reminded of the song: It’s raining men- Hallelujah – yeah it’s crazy how my mind worksπŸ˜€ But I guess I have had rain on my mind and glad to see you join me. I think rain lends itself beautifully to poetry. It is the lifeblood of the universe but it can also be cantankerous, moody, jealous and destructive. Something you can get irritated with when it is incessant but sorely miss when it doesn’t fall. We had late rains during our last Summer and had droughts in many parts of the country which we’re still feeling the impacts of. Besides, I notice that after a long dry spell, we can’t wait for rain to clear all the negative ions. So – your expression of gratitude is welcome. Sorry – that sounds like a speech now πŸ˜€

      1. No men – ah damn! Poor animalsπŸ˜‰ But on a serious note, rain is good – we just have to manage against floods etc. With Climate change, we will see more changing patterns.
I’m supposed to be taking a break in case you don’t see me around for a little while but I’ve been known to break my own rulesπŸ˜€
