TOUCH ME

A light, fleeting touch like a dewdrop

Leading to a raging flood, rapids coursing through my veins,

A cloudburst, emotions awash

A butterfly descending gently onto the corolla

Leading to a quiver of anticipation, a shudder

A sudden quake of magnitude shaking my foundation

I love the sequential progression of effects in the first half. (I make it sound like a science experiment.) This is a rather beautiful verse, Kunal, filled with lovely symbolization. Funny how soft, tender caresses can leave one swamped and shaken. Have a great week. 🙂
