I take away from your title,a dilemma. Life doesn’t offer a rewind or pause button as one has in the movies. If life was like a movie, you could go back and edit or re-work the story. Makes me also think of illusion verses reality and how you can never reclaim the exact moment. The good news seems to me to be in relishing each moment since you can’t retrieve it. Also truly living in it so as not to regret it. Does that make sense? Anyway, I like what you’ve done here – digesting a few words that can be so multifaceted for reflection. Best. Chevvy
..nor a fast forward button either! Yes, you’re absolutely right in your reading and I (we?) swing back & forth between the past and the future, not quite relishing the present. Thanks, as always, Chevvy! Take care!
Wow…amazing words that will be added to my vocabulary. And the wisdom to be drawn from where these 2 words “meet?” Live in the present moment….and embrace it fully, that is the only “Time” there is and the only reality on this earth…! Thank you my friend. 🙂
Indeed, that’s also what the ancients said as did Chevvy in her comment. I shall try, Krys, to follow this timeless advice. Thanks and have a fine evening!
Hard to believe there are words for these. Thanks for letting me know.

Well, if I was to take the analogy further, add a record button so that you can keep watching your favourite parts:-)
