SATELLITE

Heart, drawn into orbit

By gravity of attraction.

World now revolving around you,

Apogee and perigee.

Heart, waxing and waning,

Leap and neap tides of emotion.

Love sustaining and nurturing me

Giving me life as I know it.

Doubt persists that it will end all too soon

Like a supernova.

And a black hole is all that will remain.

    A satellite (say earth) revloves in an elliptical orbit, the apogee and the perigee are the nearest & furthest points from the fixity (the sun)… Thanks, again, Jason!

Great blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?

I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you recommend starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out
there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Bless you!

    Oh, I know, Kunal. I’m a black hole survivor. One of the reasons I like what you wrote is because you included the black hole scenario. If we’re being honest with ourselves it’s always lurking in the background of our psyches. Especially when the feelings are so intense. 🙂
