Where I Dwell

My abode being of a certain age

In a dream I came upon a plan

To rebuild my residence

Remodel some parts

Set up new walls

Open out others

Break down sections brick by brick

And lay new flooring

The door always open

To let out negativity

Large windows

To let in grace and goodness

Faith, courage, truth and the like

Inviting interiors

A firm foundation

A roof to protect

Safe, sturdy, loving

No locks on the gate

Nothing worth stealing

Real value in the unbreakable vault within

It took time

And effort

But when it was complete

I sent out invitations for the housewarming

And as the first guest came knocking

I thanked the Divine Architect with all my heart

For making the body I inhabit, a home
